As with our history of preparing CEQA documents, TRA has been preparing documentation pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) since 1972.

We have prepared a wide variety of NEPA documents including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments/Findings of No Significant Impact (EA/FONSI), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs). We have also prepared joint CEQA/NEPA documents, including EA/ISs and EIR/EISs. Our work encompasses a wide range of projects on federal lands including recreation trails and facilities; water conveyance and appurtenances, and projects that have a federal nexus such as habitat conservation plans supporting incidental take permits for federally-listed animal species.
