Mitigation Monitoring

The California Environmental Quality Act requires that mitigation monitoring and reporting programs (MMRPs) be adopted for projects with significant or potentially significant impacts. These plans specify mitigation measures, responsible parties, and expected work products to be able to demonstrate that mitigation proposed during the environmental review process is actually implemented.

TRA routinely coordinates and implements MMRP requirements, including performing plan checks, noise monitoring, arborist reviews, cultural resources pre-construction and construction surveys/monitoring, and special status plant and animal pre-construction surveys and monitoring. TRA also provides long term operational compliance monitoring for projects that have operational permit requirements.
