Associate/Senior Biologist. TRA Environmental Sciences seeks to hire a mid- to senior level Biologist to join the staff at our Menlo Park, CA office.

TRA is seeking a biologist who is able to complete biological site assessments and impact analysis for CEQA/NEPA documents and state and federal permits. Must have a working knowledge of California flora and fauna, be able to map vegetation communities, know the pertinent laws/regulations, and be able to identify sensitive habitat types. Additional desirable experience includes GIS mapping/analysis, wetland delineation, conservation planning, endangered species survey/handling, project and client management, and proposal preparation.

Minimum requirements are a Master’s degree in biology, ecology, natural resources or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in such a field with 3-5 years relevant experience. Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. This position requires an independent worker who also enjoys working in a team environment.
